Hi, I've just moved KMYMoney from 1 machine to another (Linux Mint 17.3, KMyMoney 4.6.4 to Linux Mint 19.1, KMyMoney 5.0.0). I'm just starting to try out the new system for my finances. I was manually entering investment prices from the Investment View and noted that the columns to the right of the "Name" were missing. My old system has Symbol, Value, Quantity and Price, but the new one only has the Name.

Is this a configuration item? I've been looking into details and did note that there was a configuration file under my home (.kde/shre/config) with a kmymoneyrc file. There was no similar folder or file on the new system. I copied the config file, that didn't work. I tried the whole folder tree (.kde) and that didn't help.

I've searched and not found anything to help. I'm hoping this is a simple thing. Any advise/guidance would be appreciated.

Right click on the header of the table shows a configuration menu where you can select/deselect certain columns. You should upgrade to 5.0.2 to avoid running into problems we have already fixed in the meantime. Check the details on our Release Notes page.

BTW: The configuration in KF5 is located in ~/.config/kmynoney

Thanks, that was way too easy. I was looking into the upgrade, downloaded the tar ball, but didn’t have the KDE prerequisite installed. I’ll upgrade before posting again. I’ll remove the .kd4 folder.
Thanks again and I really do like this app.
