I really like KMyMoney - I changed from quicken a year ago and couldn't be happier.

I have pretty much one of every account type set up in kmymoney. It's working great for the most part but I would love to be able to filter my "Brokerage" accounts out from the "Payment Accounts" area on the home page; even though they are considered 'cash' accounts, they aren't really payment accounts.

Perhaps, to allow this, you could a new "Type" called "Brokerage" that would have special handling like removal from "payment accounts"? Or a new checkbox that shows on the account screen so we can customize this area fully?
