Hello,
I have a KMyMoney file that I've been working off of for about 10 years now. Needless to say, I love the program. It has saved me thousands of dollars over the years, by opening my eyes to just where exactly my money is going. My question: After upgrading to version 5, all of my closed accounts which were hidden, have all become visible again. It makes for a cluttered display. I cannot figure out how to re-enable hiding of closed accounts in version 5. Any suggestions? Thanks! -Justin |

Glad to read that what we are doing in our spare time has a positive effect on people's wealth. Cool.
Your scenario sounds strange though. I do have a few questions before consulting my crystal-ball (= KMyMoney source code) for answers:
Note: Make sure to have a backup of your data which was written with the prior (4.8?) version (just in case).

Thank you for getting back with me on this issue. I am running KMyMoney 5.0.3 on Manjaro Linux (Arch based). The "General/Filter/Do not show closed accounts" did the trick! For some reason this setting didn't carry over from before, and I was looking for it in the view menu (I believe this is where it was located in version 4, but I could be wrong). Now I will know where to look in the future. Thanks a million! -Justin |
