I installed 5.0.4 in my home directory. I cannot find a way to start the application.
Am I missing something? (probably are) Thanks, Al |

Where did you get KMyMoney 5.0.4 from? How did you install it? What is your distro?

Sorry, thought I had done that. Ubuntu 19.04 Downloaded from Kmymoney download page as a tar. I followed all the instructions to install via terminal. Everything seems to be installed. I searched through all the folders and do not see any way to start. Al |

The tar contains the source code. You need to compile/build and install from it. In case you don't want to go that route, I suggest you use the AppImage which can be found on the KDE binary factory.

ipwizard - Thank you. The appimage worked for me. I appreciate the help.
One question - before version 5.0, money amounts were provided in information reports. None of the information reports, including account reports, etc, show any money amounts. This, for me at least, is needed. I'm sure others do also. Thanks again, Al |

Need to look into the missing numbers. There is a bug report for it already. If you have additional information, please provide it there.
