I have been having this ongoing issue trying to MAP an Account for online access. When I select MAP from the account, I get the following:

Could not wite to //c/Users/mb795b_2/AppData/Local/kmymoney/ofx-bank-index.xml.part. and then the pop-up "Loading banklist - KMyMoney" appears, but nothing happens. It just sits there. I click on the X, it goes away; then cancel on the "could not write"; and then the list of banks?? pops-up, but empty.

Any one else has idea what this is?

I can't help with a resolution but will acknowledge the same behavior. I'm running Version 5.0.6-e6db136bf. Have you opened a bug report?
