Recently upgraded from KMyMoney 4.8.4 to 5.0.6 on Windows 10 and can no longer perform a price check for my 3 stocks; only 1 stock of 3 attempts to do so.
Have now reverted to 4.8.4 using the same file and it works.
RECENT OBSERVATION.
Paths to execution of financequote.pl are different.
On 4.8.4 it is C:\Program Files\kmymoney\share\apps\kmymoney\misc\financequote.pl
On 5.0.6 it is C:\Program Files\kmymoney5\share\kmymoney\misc\financequote.pl

Not as yet. If someone could explain the method of connection of Finance Quote it might be helpful. At present the selection within KMyMoney will not hold.

Can you see if it makes a difference to use a file called financequote.pl from the 4.8.4 version on the 5.0.6 installation (simply replace it with the older version)? Does that make a difference? BTW, an issue regarding this bug has just been opened on the KMyMoney bug tracker.

All copies of financequote.pl that I have are programmatically identical; it is NOT this code but the fact that v5.0.6 will not recognise that it has been loaded and therefore allow the stock to be marked for this update. v4.8.4 does not have this problem.

Problem has been fixed in source. Once found it was easy.
