New to KMyMoney. I have created an investment account for a brokerage account (Schwab) I have that includes stocks and mutual funds. I have also created the brokerage account for that Schwab investment account. The Schwab brokerage account statement includes "Cash" and "Money Market Funds" with a 1$ share price. I normally purchase the "Money Market Fund" when "Cash" becomes large enough.

How and where do I enter the initial values for "Cash" and "Money Market Fund" for this brokerage account?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Found solution to the problem, which included on how to start a new equity in an investment account. The latter was my biggest difficulty with an existing investment account with multiple securities that I already had and wanted to enter into KMM.

Found the solution in an answer to another user with his post title "Entering Fund data" on Sept of 2015.

Put the required amount for a purchase of existing shares and market value for the equity into the Brokerage Account of the Investment Account.
Then in the ledger buy shares of the equity giving number of shares and price per share.

The total amount is then removed from the Brokerage Account and the equity is properly funded in the Ledger.
