Hi, I don't know whether what I'm asking is possible, but it's very frustrating not to be able to sort the list of accounts. Just clcking ont the column label "Account" does the job... once! Then, when you go somewhere else, or may be only when you enter a new transaction, all accounts go back in a mess. Don't know if it's the time they were created, or what else... When you have a lot of accounts it's a real pain to find the one you need.
Is it a bug that should be reported? I'm using KMM 5.0.0 in Linux Mint or 5.0.2 in Debian, the problem is the same.

I tried to duplicate the problem using the latest stable AppImage and don't see it. Make sure the sort indicator is shown for the account name column. Changing it survives a restart of the application. Maybe, this has been fixed in the meantime.

Thank you @ipwizard, that's great news. Shame on me I didn't know there was an Appimage for KMM. Can't wait to test it but... now I have a new question, should I uninstall KMM before running the Appimage?

The AppImage is a self-contained version of KMyMoney. No need to install it first, no harm to have it installed either.

In fact, I noticed that I was sorting 2 columns, "Account" and "Type", and this was not kept by KMM. When I only sort "Account" the sort order survives a restart.
Problem solved. :)
