Missing online functionality

Sat Jan 11, 2020 12:18 pm
Hello,

I installed KMyMoney 5.0.7 from ArchLinux Repos and also
```
% aqbanking-config --vstring
5.8.2
% gwenhywfar-config --vstring
4.20.2
```
however, I find no way to setup online (HBCI) accounts. Under menu Settings there is nothing like setup online / aqbanking. Under Account -> Map account I get either a list of foreign banks (tab Automatic) or three text fields Org, FID, URL.

When launching kmymoney from the command line, there are no error message or alike. In fact, there is no message at all but "WebConnect: Running in server mode".

How can I setup online banking accounts? Or what is missing here?

Thanks!

Your AqBanking and Gwenhywfar are too old. KMyMoney 5.0.7 requires:
find_package(AQBANKING 5.99.32)
find_package(gwenhywfar 4.99.16)

The stuff you found is for OFX, an online protocol that is not provided by German banks.

Ok, I see.

5.8.7 is latest released version for aqbanking and 4.20.2 for gwenhywfar. So KMyMoney is depending on beta versions. Even when released, the now beta .99 will likely become 5.9 and 4.21, not?

Best!

Yes, indeed. The recently introduced PSD2 made this necessary. Regarding the AqBanking and Gwenhywfar version numbers please follow their development web-site.
