I recently discovered how to use VAT with Categories. I've set up a few VAT Categories and associated them with several expense categories. Tests so far indicate I've configured VAT and Categories correctly. There's one problem that I can't resolve. In Ontario Gas taxes amount to approximately 29%. HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) is also charged on each gasoline purchase. I've set up VAT Categories for both HST and Gas but cannot figure out how to assign both to an expense category (Expenses>Automobile>Fuel. When I attempt to configure the category I'm only able to select one VAT. What am I missing, is it not possible to assign more than one VAT to and Expense category?

This is not (yet) foreseen. Please file a wish list request with the bug tracker if you think that it is necessary to be supported by KMyMoney. It would be very helpful to get some more information about the financial regulations behind this and how you envision how the feature should work. Thanks in advance.
