check templates blank

Mon Jan 20, 2020 5:13 pm
Version 5.0.0 Just setting up for first use. In Plugins, under Check Printing, there are no templates shown. Just a blank box. Where do I find these templates, and how many are there?

Well, I closed and re-opened KMyMoney and now I do see two templates. I selected the "green linen" one, hit "OK" and made a test check. It prints in the other template, not green linen. What am I doing wrong?

Saga continues...

I found the Green Linen template, but it does not print to fit my checks. I learned that I have to modify the HTML file to fix this.

However, I do not know HTML coding, cannot find a WYSIWIG package (the template was written with Gwrite, which is now defunct) that allows me to manipulate the template without knowing HTML code. And when I load the template into a regular text editor and play with it, I cannot use "Save As" because the template is apparently Read Only and I am told I do not have permission to save the altered version.

Help!

Hi. You should find this blank check paper software useful. Be sure to check it out and let me know how it works for you. It's quick and easy to use, and is highly recommended.
