I'm not sure what it's called but on the far left side of the screen there is the list of "Home", "Institutions", "Accounts", etc.

Is it possible to reorder that list so that I can move "Categories" where "Institutions" is and so on?

I've looked in the "configure KMyMoney" area but it doesn't like like it can be done from there

I've also forgotten the official name of that panel, but it contains an icon for each of the major Views KMM provides of your data. At the moment, there is no way to reorder that list. You could file a "wishlist" bug on bugs.kde.org if you want, and it would be the best way to assure the request doesn't get forgotten, but I suspect it would not be prioritized very highly, given the limited availability of developer time.
