In KMyMoney, is there a way to view transactions from all accounts in the ledger (i.e. not just from one account at a time, but every transaction from every account)? The equivalent of clicking "All Transactions" at the top of Quicken's account bar, or in Skrooge, selecting "All" from the dropdown at the top of the Operations page?

There's a way, but may be different from what you are looking for: use a transactions report (e.g. by month) and select to show the account. That is the closest you can get using KMyMoney.

Thanks for the quick reply - bummer, but I suspected as much.
Basically I'm trying to find an alternative to Quicken, in which that 'All Transactions' ledger is the primary (virtually the only) way I use the software. Although KMyMoney seems like one of the most mature options, I was a bit surprised that this would be missing (i.e. it's in Quicken, Skrooge, Homebank, MoneySpire, MoneyWiz, etc). So I just thought I'd make absolutely sure I wasn't missing it somewhere before moving on. Cheers for the response, tho |
