UK stocks updates

Tue May 12, 2020 4:43 am
Hi.

I have tried to get updates work for UK stocks but I haven't been able to. Is there step by step instructions how to do that? The problem is related that prices at stock prices are in GPX and there is no such currency in kmymoney. My base currency is euro, so it would be nice to get these work so that i can get right value of investments in GBP as well as in EUR automatically. Now i periodically update stock prices manually.

Can you elaborate on what GPX stock pricing is?

Hi,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_sterling

So UK stocks are priced as Pence, but I haven't found the way to find eur to GBX rate. So i cannot fetch the stock price for example from

Did you try to set the factor for the online source? See the KMyMoney manual for details. This has helped UK users in the past and would allow you to get the price in GBP directly.

Hope that helps.

Sure this helped a bit. I just found out that London stock exchange data is delayed 20 min, as australian data is, in Financial times and not 15 mins as was on original filter. So now everything works well when I use that factor 1/100 and I use my filter made for australian stocks.
