I'm currently running Kmy 5.0.8 on Linux Mint 20 cinnamon.
I'm trying to export a QIF file but it won't let me. The problem, I think, is in the profile section which is empty and won't let me input anything nor does it offer a drop down menu. Help, please.... Thanks, Bruce |

The problem indeed seems to be a missing profile. Open to the KMyMoney settings dialog, select the plugins pane and look for either the QIF import or export (does not make a difference here). Open the configuration dialog (the left of the two buttons on the right) and a Default profile will be presented. Leave that dialog by pressing OK which should create that default profile for the export and you are good to go.
Hope that helps. PS: this had been reported and fixed (see entry on bug tracker)
