My credit card provider "helpfully" has changed the export format yet again of the CSV files. I already had an issue with having to open the CSV first in LibreCalc and fix the date settings, however now instead of separate Debit / Credit columns they now have one column for amount and another that says either Debit or Credit which the importer is working with its just getting the transactions the wrong way round i.e. Credits become Debits and vice versa.
Is there anyway to change this either in the import template or in the account settings, I can work around it by editing the file and creating separate credit and debit columns but I would prefer to do the import in one step. |

I think I understand the problem but a few questions still remain. Which version of KMyMoney are you using? Does the amount carry an indication of a signedness (minus sign, parens around value, ...)? Can you drop an anonymized CSV sample of a debit and credit record here? Use the Code markup for it.
ipwizard, proud to be a member of the KMyMoney forum since its beginning.
