I have some accounts of which I only own part (they are shared with someone else).
KMyMoney reports the whole balance as part of my Assets, but only 50% or 33% is mine, depending. Is there any way to tell KMyMoney to take this into account in the 'Assets and Liabilities Summary' and the reports? |

Hi Ivan
It is not possible to take this into account. There is a feature request about that here https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424507 |

How about creating "currencies" for the partial ownership account. The exchange rate for each currency would equal the ownership proportion.

Sounds hackish. I don't know all the consequences this could have in terms of 1) KMyMoney's own workings and calculations (could it throw something off??), and 2) how easy it would be to work with this. Regarding this second point, I think that I would have to halve the exchange rates for every transaction, which could be a bit of a pain.
I think this needs accounts to have a sense of ownership %, which could be taken into account in the summary and in the reports (by ticking a dedicated box). |
