In "Settings=>Configure=>General=>Filter" I have set "Do not show closed accounts", but closed accounts are still shown (with a line through the name) in the Assets and Liabilities section of the home page, and on the accounts page. So what effect is that setting supposed to have?

Just discovered there's a bug report on this: Bug #410075
I had set View=>Show All Accounts, and this overrides the filter setting
