Hi,
I wanted to give kmm 5 a try on Windows 10, coming from kmm 4.8.0. I tried the 5.1-876 stable build. I noticed that the ledger rows now take up a lot more space. I can basically only fit half of the rows on one page as I could with 4.8. Can this be customized somehow? Otherwise, kmm 5 is of no real use to me... |

Are you seeing the full transaction details in each ledger row? If so, you can turn this off: In the KMM menu - Settings->Configure KmyMoney->Ledger->Display tab, uncheck "Show all register entries in full detail"
Edit: Also, View->Show transaction detail, or CTRL-T will toggle this setting. |

No, this is not about the full details vs. single line.
In both of these variants, kmm 5 takes up significantly more space per data row than kmm 4. Just comparing what I see with some particular view, I fit 9 rows of data in kmm 4, vs. only 5 lines of data in kmm 5 (both showing payee, category and detail lines for each row of data.) For single-line display, it's 28 lines vs. 14 lines. This is a major dent for usability and preventing me from considering a switch to kmm 5. So far kmm 4 is working fine for me, but I'm worried I'm missing out on bug fixes, better matching etc. Is there a way to configure this somehow, or get the old kmm 4 look back? |

I wondered why I was not able to view as much in KMM, and now see your post, thanks. As stated, row height needs to be adjustable, plus there is no adjustment of windows within main windows (ledger view for example).
