I'm using KMyMoney 5.1.0 on Kubuntu 20.10 and I need to schedule a transaction that occurs on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Since the day-of-the-month for the third Wednesday varies each month I don't see an obvious method to create such a schedule. Currently I have it scheduled for a fixed day of the month and I will have to adjust the date each month when I enter the transaction in the ledger.
Is there a better way to handle this or is it beyond the current state of the scheduler? Thanks, Robert |

Unfortunately, it is beyond current functionality. There are already numerous requests to enhance that on the KDE bug tracker.

I have a similar but different problem to this.
In the UK pension payments are made every 4th Monday. This was possible in previous versions of KMyMoney, but in V5.08 , the nearest option is 13 payments per year. This will fail at the next Leap Year. |

Why don't you select 4 weeks as frequency and set the first payment on the right Monday? Or is it the 4th Monday of each month?

Thanks a lot. That worked. For some reason my brain processed that as the reciprocal, ie 4 transactions in 1 week!
I now know better. Thanks again Tim |
