Hello!
I am working for years with kMM and somewhen in the past started to try out the investment function. Now i would like to use it more often and therefore edit the old entries to represent proper transactions. To achieve this, i have created a new investment account and the correponding brokerage account. I then have moved over the money transactions from the old brokerage account (which happens to be an asset account) to the new one (which is a checkings account, changeable to savings and cash). This went well. Now I would like to delete the old stock transactions step by step in the old investment account and recreate them properly in the new one. But: I can neither edit nor delete the old stock buying transaction in the new account. Why? And how can I fix this? thx & cu, ada |

This sounds like an account that is referenced by the transaction has been closed in the meantime.

Hello!
Thank you very much for your suggestion. I appreciate any help. And actually your suggestion led me indeed to the solution: I had closed the equity after selling it for good. Reopening the Equity makes its corresponding transaction editable again as well. Which now makes perfect sense. thx & cu, ada |
