Dear all,
a frustrated Lexware Quicken user is trying to migrate to KMyMoney in the version KMyMoney-5.1.1-2cc89fc-x86_64.AppImage. Using a sed - script I've been able to fix several Quicken/Lexware Finanzmanager idiosyncrasies. However, I'm now at a point where I probably need the help of the import filter designers. During the import, KMyMoney prompts me for every security (a lot of trading over the last twenty years) to install is as a subaccount (?) - well to enter the details of the security. It is to choose the type of the security (in German: Wertpapier / Anlagefond / Anleihe) - it would be ok for me to put everything as a Wertpapier. One could just click continue. Finally, the only think needed to enter is the Stock symbol. For me, that would be the ISIN. The source of online prices, the stock exchange etc. is for the moment of secondary importance and can be changed later (respectively set only for the still active securities, not the sold ones; but of course, for the history and completeness of the data I need to have also the old ones in the account). What would also be nice is to set the number of decimals by default to 4 and not to 2. The ISIN is present in the QIF-File, with the (probably not documented) identifier @. (The WKN is after the ~ , it would also work for my purpose. I haven't figured out what the & should represent). A sample entry looks like this: ^ D10.16.20 V10.16.20 NBuy FEUR G1.000000 YFidelityChinaConsumerEUR ~A1JH3J @LU0594300252 &2 I29.377203 Q1.702000 U50.00 .00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00|0.00 L|[AlexFidelity] $50.00 B0.00|0.00|0.00 ^ Is there a possibility (may be without changes in KMyMoney, may be I can do it with a sed - script or in the import filter) to use everything after @, in this case LU0594300252 as the stock symbol and automatically add the securities - and not prompting for several hundreds of items?
