Anybody ?
Could this be a KDE issue and if so, how do I prove or disprove it ?

thanks

Yes, it could be a more global problem. Prove/disprove it: do other KDE applications show the same behavior or not.

As a side note, the version you mentioned does not exist: the letter 'o' is not part of the hexadecimal system, so it must be a zero. This version is about 8 months old. Not sure if there were any fixes in the meantime around this area. You may try to use a recent AppImage version and see if that helps to fix it for you.

Well, I went back and installed the version from the software library and it works fine.
So, problem solved based upon a suggestion by ipwizard.
