I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction with the following situation.

My partner and I have a joint checking bank account which we both pay 700 a month into and joint expenses are taken from (mortgage, household bills, etc). I wish to track my share only of thee expenses, my partner isn't interested

My own 700 is transferred from my own bank account to the joint bank account, this is not income, merely a transfer which is fine. What is the best way to show my partners 700 coming into the joint bank account in KMyMoney.

What is the best way to record my half of the expenses from the joint bank account in KMyMoney? I could just half the statement amounts and enter these but this seems laborious and will make reconciliation harder than it needs to be. Is there a method to enter the statement amounts, attribute half of that to myself as an expense and disregard/record in own category or similar for my partners half so as to give an accurate picture of my own expenses?

I hope that makes some vague sense, I fear I have explained it poorly.
