Reports seem disappointing

Tue Aug 17, 2021 7:24 pm
I've been using KMyMoney for only a month, but I am determined to not go back to the "evil one". :-) So far I am very happy. There are only a couple of things on my wish list:

I would appreciate knowing how to get reports on the 40+ stocks/etfs that I follow of the (a) change from yesterday and (b) net change in that stock price since purchase.
There is a capital gain by account, but it seems to cover only those investments that have been sold. I would like to have that report on all holdings in order to decide which ones to sell.

I also had to go through each stock individually to tell the program to use yahoo finance. A global option would have been nice. Otoh, I did get the online stock lookup to work, so that is a plus. I still haven't succeeded in getting OFX direct download from banks yet. But I am rambling...
Thanks to all

It is easy to get an "unrealized capital gains" report for stocks you own:
1. Go to the Capital Gains report and select customize.
2. Go to Configure and then the Report tab
3. Go to the Sum Investments field and using the drop down menu, select Only Owned.
The resulting report should be what you are looking for.
