I'm trying to create a zero-sum budget for my money. The only way to do that is to budget out every dollar. This involves budgeting transfers, meaning all my loan payments, credit card payments, and transfers to my savings account.
Almost all financial apps that I have used fail to let you budget loan and credit card payments. Is there some way to do this in KMyMoney? |

One way I could think of is to create scheduled transactions for each of the positions. Then set the preview filter for the ledger to 30 days and you can see these transactions in the ledger in advance (incl. the running balance). Once the occur, they can simply be entered and you are set. Does that make sense and is of help to you?

I am new to KMyMoney. Could you give me an example of how you would do each side of the transfer. I am used to be able to budget transfers. Thanks so much for any help! I just need it for my credit card payments.
