God I'm a retard sometimes!! :P Tried 3 times to create a message and kept getting.. "Your message contains too few characters." before I realized I had created the TITLE of my topic and now I needed to fill in the subject!!
Anyhow, Hello all!
I have a problem, every time I bring up a dialogue box to create a new "anything" such as a new category the "Name" field is all coloured white, it's not a filled in white colour but more of an overlay. I can type the information into the field but cannot see what I am typing it all remains white OVER my typing... If I save the new category I can see the new name I put in the field, however if I try to edit the name it once again will be hidden under this white bar...

This is most likely a configuration issue, but please provide enough information for someone to help you. Is this a new use of KMyMoney or did this problem just start recently? (perhaps after an upgrade to either KMM or other system libraries?) What version of KMM are you running, on which OS/Distribution, and where did you get the program (distro package, appimage, self compiled, ....) Are you running gnome, plasma, or some other WM? What theme are you using, and have you made any changes to the default colors there?

Well, as a temporary fix, when that happens it is often due to something like writing with a white text font on a white background. You can see the text if you "select it". So, swipe the box, or double click on it, and this often helps.
As a permanent fix, I think that Ostroffjh is on the right track. Check in Settings > Configure KMyMoney > Colors.
Let us know if this helps.
