I've Made recent changes in system, towards KDE. Been using Kubuntu and KmyMoney 5.0.8 system successfully for over a year, tracking investments.
I'm also using AutoKey.

This "freeze" just started happening today.

Now I am able to access files with AppleImage verion 5.1.2-281f69d70 with full functionality... but I've removed and reinstalled 5.0.8-1build3 3-times and it won't repair.

All investments set to "total for all shares".

I will provide Best details I can upon request... but hoping there's a little known fix here somewhere.

More important: can you elaborate a bit about what you refer to as This "freeze"? What do you do? What do you try to do? What do you experience?

BTW: An AppImage has nothing to do with fruits of any kind, not even an Apple

Yes, all investment accts refer properly to "hierarchy" cash accts.

Program appears normal everywhere, except for Accounts/Asset/InvestmentAcct "editing" and "new transaction" page. Allows 'Date', 'Security', 'Details'... but stops there. Immediately TABS to 'Memo' field. 'Quantity', 'Price' are greyed out and inaccessible.

I downloaded and successfully use the AppImage (LOL) updated version normally, but of course I haven't yet learned how to update using the MAKE files... I'm studying that kettle of worms now. OMG...

Took a break... after working all morning on trying to prepare a suitable Debug Crash report... reloaded the AppImage version of the program, ran it and determined, yes it still works A-OK... Then re-starting my installed version and NOW IT WORKS. Why? I don't know.

Could be, that 5.0.8 has some weird problem with the dynamics of the input field. I kind of remember that there was a fix in that area quite some time ago. So don't be surprised if the symptoms re-appear depending on the actual phase of the moon or other stellar constellations

and, yes... it has happened before and I was tearing my hair out trying to remember the fix.
