I use KmyMoney V5.1.2 on W10
- In the invesments window i can see only the name of the equities in an account, no more symbol, value, quantity, price, is it normal ?
- Some of these equities are no more used in the account (quantity = 0 in the ledger) but the delete investment is greyed, how can i delete it ?

Try to click on the header of the investment view. That should allow you to activate the missing columns. If all are turned on, scroll the view to the right.

You cannot delete an investment that is still referenced by transactions, but you can close the account instead if the balance is zero.

Thanks ipwizard, you was right, the missing column was not activated and after activation they all were far away to the right !

The account balance is not zero because there is still some not zero investments inside.
The problem comes from the online price update that is done for a lot of investments that i do not need anymore. An idea to avoid that ?

Well, i found the trick : edit the investment and do not choose a online source.

So one more question, if you want to see the evolution of an investment that have a cash account associated, what report will you choose, i could not find one ?

My last question does not inspire you, yet I am sure that not being able to follow an investment account and its associated cash account is a problem for some of you because when you sell/buy securities, the cash counterpart must always be taken into account.
Could the developers of the reports look into the problem? It would be enough if the 'investment worth graph' report could take into account all the accounts, not only the investments accounts.

The original developers of the reports are not around in the project anymore. That may answer the question why no-one is responding.

Damn that's a real problem no way to solve it ? if the reports never evolve that's will be a great lack of usability of the application in the futur.

I would not say that they don't evolve, it is just hard to dive into them and fix something. Helping hands are always welcome to re-work them.
