Hi All -

Been using KMyMoney for years without issue. This morning KMyMoney began crashing on save. Save As also results in a crash. Tried with an old backup file, same result.

Repro Steps:
(1) Open KMyMoney;
(2) Open any of my kmymoney files (current or backups)
(3) Try to save as (or if I've edited the file and then just straight save)

Observed: Crash, does not save.

Happy to try any diagnostics as I'm a bit paralyzed at this point as far as finances go.

Mine has been doing this for about a week and it's driving me crazy. Hopefully someone will come up with a fix. My husband was perplexed too and he's pretty good with all things Linux.

Thanks for reporting: this is a known issue and has been analyzed to be caused by a change in an underlying library that KMyMoney simply makes use of. The problem has been reported upstream to that library. Not much we can do about from the application standpoint but wait for their fix to hit the repos. Sorry for any inconvenience.
