Is there a way to modify the account associated with a scheduled transaction other than deleting and recreating? I have been trying to do this for over an hour and I have been unable to find anyway to modify the account of a scheduled transaction. When I click on the drop down for Account, I am only seeing the one Asset account. I have another asset account. Scheduled transactions created and associated with one, only show that one account as an option.

I have more than one checking account and from time to time, I move scheduled transaction around. This is causing me some extra work to recreate schedules.

That does seem strange, but I just tried it and got the same results. I doubt it is an intentional limitation, but it may be the unintended consequence of the design or some past change to the behavior of scheduled transactions. I'll wait a bit for one of the developers to comment, but I'll probably open a bug for it. It does seem surprising that nobody else has noticed this yet. It seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to want to be able to do.

I am currently running 5.1.2 on Ubuntu, but I am currently compiling 5.1.3. I will see if the same thing happens on that version.

I don't know of any recent changes in this area, and I suspect even compiling from git master will behave the same.

I figured it out. When you select the drop down, the old checking account is still in there. That is evidently filtering the accounts available. Back it out using the back key until the field is empty and the other accounts will show.

IIRC, a double-click on the drop-down arrow of the combo-box should also show all accounts. Don't have a 5.1.x installed here currently to try it out myself.
