I have been a regular user (and huge fan) of KMyMoney for several years. I started using it after Microsoft Money was discontinued. One feature I would really like is an IOS app that allows you to enter transactions for purchases made on debit/credit cards when out and about which then syncs with the main KMyMoney program. This would need to be cross platform as my main program is Windows based.

Any plans to ever consider such an endeavour?

In the meantime can I publicly give a massive thank you to the developers for filling the massive hole in my financial life after the commercial developers gave up on personal financial programs.

A dedicated iOS app would likely be an overkill. You can, however, totally use any of the apps available in App Store that can export transactions in QIF/OFX formats. Try iQIF maybe?
