Recently imported a QIF file. It went okay but there are now various new accounts showing. A number of them have no transactions, yet I cannot delete them. When I go Account | Edit |Hierarchy tab, the account is shown as a sub account of another account that doesn't exist. By that, I mean it doesn't show up when I press "Home" to show all the Asset and Liability accounts.
I may be able to find the transaction that are causing this though ??

I should have been chasing chasing "A000703" .. not chasing "A000702" ..
Searching and found .. <KEYVALUEPAIRS> <PAIR key="kmm-match-split" value="S0001"/> <PAIR key="kmm-matched-tx" value="<!DOCTYPE MATCH> <CONTAINER> <TRANSACTION commodity="AUD" postdate="1998-05-30" id=" plus a whole lot of other info. In KMM, that transaction is in bold. If I go to edit it, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary. How do I get rid of the keyvaluepair info please ? Or, .. do I "accept" the match or do I "Unmatch" ? EDIT: Later - so I did the "accept" on one transactions and now it looks like I can delete the corresponding account.
