Recently imported a QIF file. It went okay but there are now various new accounts showing. A number of them have no transactions, yet I cannot delete them. When I go Account | Edit |Hierarchy tab, the account is shown as a sub account of another account that doesn't exist. By that, I mean it doesn't show up when I press "Home" to show all the Asset and Liability accounts.

I may be able to find the transaction that are causing this though ??

Have copied the .KMY file to a temp path and uncompressed. Looking for Account "CONSOL". Here is the data ..

<ACCOUNT lastreconciled="" lastmodified="2022-09-30" parentaccount="A000702" id="A000703" number="" institution="" currency="AUD" name="CONSOL" opened="2022-09-30" type="1" description="Autogenerated by QIF importer"/>

chasing "A000702" ..

<INSTITUTION id="I000013" manager="" sortcode="" name="XYZ">
<ADDRESS zip="" telephone="" city="" street=""/>
<ACCOUNTIDS>
<ACCOUNTID id="A000702"/>
<ACCOUNTID id="A000696"/>
</ACCOUNTIDS>
<KEYVALUEPAIRS>
<PAIR key="bic" value=""/>
<PAIR key="url" value=""/>
</KEYVALUEPAIRS>
</INSTITUTION>

<SUBACCOUNT id="A000702"/> (within 'Asset')

<ACCOUNT lastreconciled="" lastmodified="" parentaccount="AStd::Asset" id="A000702" number="" institution="I000013" currency="AUD" name="XYZ Australia loans/Loans" opened="2022-09-30" type="1" description="Autogenerated by QIF importer">
<SUBACCOUNTS>
<SUBACCOUNT id="A000703"/>
</SUBACCOUNTS>
</ACCOUNT>

I should have been chasing chasing "A000703" .. not chasing "A000702" ..

Searching and found ..

<KEYVALUEPAIRS>
<PAIR key="kmm-match-split" value="S0001"/>
<PAIR key="kmm-matched-tx" value="&#60;!DOCTYPE MATCH> &#60;CONTAINER> &#60;TRANSACTION commodity="AUD" postdate="1998-05-30" id="

plus a whole lot of other info. In KMM, that transaction is in bold. If I go to edit it, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary. How do I get rid of the keyvaluepair info please ?

Or, .. do I "accept" the match or do I "Unmatch" ?

EDIT: Later - so I did the "accept" on one transactions and now it looks like I can delete the corresponding account. :)
