Hello,
I just run a report of monthly expenses.
Under the 'range' selection I ticked the option 'monthly'.
As I can see the breakdown of the monthly amounts are in columns (horizontally).
This will produce a very wide report if the reporting time period is very large, perhaps even exceed the printers capabilities.
(I don't have currently a wide span time period - yet).

My question is:
Can I create a report where the monthly breakdown is in <one> column under the category with sub-totals perhaps per year?
This way I could create a 'letter size' report with several pages.

Any suggestions is much appreciated.
TIA

PS: I'm running KMM v.5.1.3-3408d1edc under Linux Mint 20.3

I doubt that the current implementation of reports will support that. Sorry.

One possible workaround would be to export the report as csv and open it in Excel or LibreOffice Calc. You can then select and copy the main data area and paste special in a new sheet, applying a pivot (swap rows and columns). More complicated would be to write a script (Perl, Python, ..., your choice) to read the csv and write it out mostly the same, but with the data pivoted.

A image of "Thumbs Up" should be displayed here.
But this phpBB installation does not allow it.
