Why can I not clear or reconcile entries with today's date?

I am seeing my bank statement online with these entries there.

These entries were scheduled payments. Although they appear in the account list, I have now found that I have to "Enter" scheduled payments before I can "Clear" them.

I am looking at this program (and another) to replace my Acemoney which I have had for many years after MSMoney.

So far I am happy with this one.

Scheduled entries are shown as preview in the ledger (a little lighter, but that maybe depending on your selected theme/font). You can turn off that feature by setting the preview period to 0 days if you want.

Thanks, but I don't see the "setting the preview period to 0 days" option. Where is it?
