Opening a new KMY file with old Kmymoney file

HI I upgraded from version 5.06 to 5.13 and discovered the dreaded unfixed OFX import failure.
I then tried to open the file in version 5.06 and was unable due to a "File was not parsable! /home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/kmymoney-5.0.6/kmymoney/plugins/xml/"
error.
Does anybody know how to open a new version of the file with and old Package

Did you already try a (possibly) fixed version by running from an AppImage?
