KMyMoney always returns to the last transaction

Hello to all of you.
I have just discovered KMyMoney and so far I am very happy with it.
I have just one small problem:
If I minimize the window, when I return to KMyMoney, it focuses on the last transaction regardless of which one I was on in "Ledgers".
This is annoying, because first of all, since I have scheduled transactions, I always end up in the future.
Also, since I enter the transactions by hand, I spend a lot of time on past transactions and constantly going back to transactions from more than a year ago is tedious.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you in advance.

Somehow, your description rings a bell, but I don't remember the details. Maybe, someone else here does. A few more details are necessary before we start to investigate the problem:

Which version of KMyMoney, operating system and desktop environment are you using? In case of Linux, are you using X or Wayland?

Hello, ipwizard.
I use KMyMoney 5.1.3. I am running Manjaro Linux x86-64 (kernel 6.2.12) with Xfce 4.18 with X.Org 21.1.8.
I should put this in my signature.

As a linux user you are qualified to checkout the latest AppImage versions. Since they are build daily, it would provide an indication if the bug is already fixed or not. You can visit our download page to get a link to them. The build failures shown on the AppImage page during the last couple of nights (builds 465 to 470) were caused by a change to the build system not by changes to the KMyMoney source code (just in case you are concerned). Would be nice to see if you notice any difference.

I installed the Nightly 473 and it is just perfect.
I'm surprised by so many changes (from what I've seen).
The fact that the "New Delete Edit Cancel Accept Match" buttons are gone in the Big Book reading mode is a good thing to avoid any unthinking changes.
Don't laugh, we all do things without thinking.
Now KMyMoney keeps track of the position when you minimize the window.
It doesn't keep it when you turn it off, but that doesn't matter.
Thank you for suggesting that I try Nightly, it's true that I tend not to use it when it's for sensitive subjects.
I put the Nightly RSS feed in my reader.
Problem solved.
Good day to you.

Attention: you downloaded the current development version (i.e. bleeding edge) which we do not recommend for production use. The 5.1 stable version is also available as AppImage, but on a different page. It's current build number is 471 (they are not related to each other).

Thank you.

I keep La Nightly because it offers the direct display of divided operations.
It's still faster to find what you bought.
