Hi all,
I'm trying to use the KMyMoney AqBanking plugin to download and import account information from Charles Schwab Bank. I'm using KMyMoney 0.9.2 and AqBanking 0.9.9beta. I set up the OFX connection parameters according to those found at "http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/OFX_Direct_Connect_Bank_Settings". I then mapped a KMM account to the corresponding online account, and update the account. I'm prompted for my password (which I enter), but instead of getting my account information, I get this:
How should I proceed from here? Is there some program which I can use to verify that the Charles Schwab OFX actually does work? Is there any way I can get more information about the errors? Thanks for any help ![]()

You should use the Aqbanking 0.8.x version, not the 0.9.x.

I only see the 0.9.x versions of the KMM AqBanking plugin available for download: http://www.aquamaniac.de/sites/download ... &showall=1 Are you sure the 0.8 series of the plugin is compatible with KMM 0.9.2? |

There are three parts to the game here: KMyMoney (version 0.9.2) KBanking (version 0.9.9beta) AqBanking (version yet unknown, but should be < 3.9) Alvaro wanted to point out the last dependency. I just updated the version stuff on http://kmymoney2.sourceforge.net/plugins.html to reflect the latest state of affairs.

Yes, my apologies for not being clearer on that earlier. I'm running AqBanking version 3.8.0-1. |

Rodney,
Not to muddy the waters any further for you, but I use KMyMoney without the AqBanking plugin (just using KMM native support for OFX downloads), and I can connect to Schwab just fine. If you don't have any accounts that depend specifically on the AqBanking plugin, you might want to set up the native bit. Just my 2 cents. -Mike

Hi Rodney I replied to you a couple of days ago, but it seemed to get lost somewhere. I've used two programs to download statements, which will verify the process for you. One is in python, easy, wellknown, but giving little info on the process. It's here... https://www.wesabe.com/groups/39-uk-wes ... ad-success . The other uses java and gives a good commentary on the process. It's here.. .http://www.terabytelabs.net/nationwide- ... omment-430 Both are specific to a UK bank, but you just need to substitute your own info. Hope these might help. Allan
