Dear Kmymoney- ers,
I am using kmymoney 0.8.8 provided by the fedora8 packages. I love it. I have just been promoted and in the new appointment package my employer contribute monthly to a retirement fund on my behalf. I would like to schedule that contribution but I don't see how to schedule the acquisition of more share in a mutual fund. I did not find any information on the web searching for "schedule investment", sorry if I missed it or if the newer version are already able to do that. Thanks for your help, GrotcH |

No, you are right, there is no way to schedule an investment. I'm not aware of the reasons, but you can't do it in the CVS version either.
Congratz for your promotion!

You should submit a feature request in sourceforge.net, our tracker.

Thanks for the info. I did not know about the tracker, I checked there and found a request opened in 2005: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.ph ... tid=354708 The request is not 100% what I want, but is very similar. The fact that it has not been implemented make me think that it is not among the dev priority or that it is hard to do. Thanks again for your quick answers. |

Add a comment to it with the difference of what you want.
Also, there have been some changes to schedules that can make it easier to implement now. A lot has happened since 2005.
