KMyMoney has a useful feature which allows you to set account limits so it can provide warnings when certain balances are reached.
I am updating my bank account after being away for a short while and each time I make an entry in the ledger the warning message appears. Believe me this soon becomes frustrating as you have to acknowledge the message every time, and I read and understood the warning the first time it appeared! My suggestion is that it would be useful to present an option on the warning 'Do not show this message again this session'. This flag would be reset either on exit or startup to ensure future warning messages are displayed.

I am currently looking into that. It's not as easy as one might think, but eventually I should find a solution to the problem shortly.

Thanks for the reply, I know from experience as an occasional programmer that these sort of things are never as straightforward as they sound.

But now the feature is available in CVS HEAD. The warning will be turned off for the currently selected account until you reload the file or open another one.
