On one of my checking accounts, it looks like I somehow confused KMyMoney (perhaps by setting an expense from before the account was opened technically, I've since changed its date to look less confusing). The opening deposit line shows the correct opening balance as "Desposit", but then the Balance is that amount + some more. So in the end the account is off by a few hundred dollars.
So unless KMyMoney would actually put real money into my account to make this fiction reality (which I would be fine with :shade:), I need some way to zero the initial balance.

Actually this is a reproducible bug. It should either ban you from sending out checks before the account is opened or just fake it.
I'll look into reporting it. It would be nice if someone had a work around, I had to enter a correcting withdrawal, makes things messy. Edit: Actually reopening KMyMoney completely fixed the issue. Makes me feel good that it isn't saving **** to disk. I'll go find the bug tracker though.
