Hello all,

I have been using kmymoney from clay's repository on Ubuntu 8.10 for about 6 months. I cannot get kmymoney to directly download transactions from my two banks (US Bank and Community Banks of Colorado). I have been able to directly download from Scottrade.

For US Bank, I suspect the problem has something to do with the fact that US Bank recently instituted an additional security question, so the login process involves typing in a user name, answering and security question, and then entering the password, in 3 different screens.

For Community Banks of Colorado, I suspect the problem has something to do with the missing information in the "online banking account setup" wizard.

Does not support online banking

I have searched http://www.ofxhome.com/index.php for the missing information, but Community Banks of Colorado was not listed. Also, the website does have online banking at https://cm.netteller.com/login2008/Authentication/Views/Login.aspx?fi=COMMBANKSOFCO&bn=ae0991ec32a830d9&burlid=690feb283c4a4f10

I would appreciate any help on being able to directly download transactions from the banks. US Bank is not that big of deal, but I have 7 accounts at Community Banks of Colorado. Thanks in advance for any help.

http://sba.microsoft.com/bank_list.html suggests that direct connect is not supported but download and import is supported.

US Bank definitely does support Direct Connect. I have been using it with Quicken for years. Now I am beginning to endeavor to switch to KMyMoney.

I did have trouble with the security questions for a month or two but that problem went away. US Bank must have gotten a clue that they were making the Direct Connect users unhappy.
