Hello together,
I'm getting an error message when I try to configure the online banking. When I create the user for online banking and type in all my bank ID's and account ID's and try to continue a window pops up and says: Network error: The server address xxxxxxxxx is not a valid address of an internet server. Type mismatch? It doesn't matter if I use the start page of my bank or the login page for my bank account. I always get these message. I wonder if it is a KDE problem, cause when I use konqueror and try to go to login page of the bank a similar error occurs: "Unknown computer; can't find the server in the internet." The start page page works fine in konqueror. The login to the bank and online banking works fine with firefox. I live in Germany and I'm using OpenSuse 11.1 and KDE4.2 and have a proxy server on another computer installed which is my connection to the internet. The proxy is the same in firefox and konqueror. Any suggestions? Thx in advance! |

KMM and Konqueror use the same web renderer.
Do you have this problem only with this page or is it a general connection problem in Konqueror? |

It looks like you mix up a few things here. The online access via Firefox is called web-access, whereas KMyMoney supports real online banking via HBCI and OFX. If you use the same parameters for HBCI as for your web-access you will not be able to get it going. Keep in mind, that some institutions also have different credentials for web-access and HBCI access, so you might need to contact your bank.
Hope that helps and gets you going.
