Dear KMyMoney Community,

we are approaching a long awaited moment in history:

the release of KMyMoney 1.0

Therefore, we want to perform a virtual release party and whoever wants to
join, can find us on

Wednesday August 19th on the IRC #kmymoney on freenode.org.

The party will start at 19:00 UTC

So whoever wants to celebrate with the core developers is welcome to do so.
Maybe, we even see some prominent visitors as well.

p.s. Please don't ask where you can get this hot new release. It will be
unveiled during the party.

Really sorry to have missed the release party, work does that to you...

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all those who have worked on KMM.

It's a killer app for me and one of the main reasons I switched to Linux all those years ago.

Thanks again, I'm looking forward to version 1.0.
