I recently upgraded through the OpenSuse repository to KmyMoney 1.0.0 because that was all that was available, but since I upgraded, my UPDATE button does not work for OFX piece. The original file shows my accounts, but nothing more I can do, can't download any ofx information from the banks. I am stuck and don't know what to do. I don't know how to do a compile from source, so here I am. Can someone tell me how to fix?

The previous openSuse version, via Packman, did not have OFX installed. In KMyMoney, go to
Tools/Configure KMM/Plugins and say if KMyMoney OFX is present and ticked.

PS My OpenSuse 11.1 still shows only 9.3 and 9.2. What are you on?

I have available and ticked the following:

Kbanking
KmyMoney OFX

Don't have Kmmbanking and it shows version 1.0.0 for KmyMoney.

OK, have you tried unmapping and re-mapping the account/s?

If I unmap, will I lose all my information?

No, it just enables resetting the OFX parameters. You'll probably need to do it for each ofx-type account you have. However, I'd always ensure I have plenty of backup copies of important files.
