I import my current account transactions (OFX) and KMyMoney does a good job of matching with those already entered on the ledger.

It matches transactions already entered by the Scheduler except for the same 2 transactions:

- Both are for an identical amount.
- One is on 1st of the month, the other 3rd of the month.
- The transaction payees are named exactly as in the OFX file and configured to match on payee name.

The quick fix is to delete the imported transaction but it would be nice if the process worked!

Is this behaviour expected?

I'm not sure what the default setting is, but here, Configure/Register/Import shows to match entries within four days. As your items are within two days, have you tried altering this setting?

No I have not, it might be worth some experimentation.

Or simply remove the transactions in the ledger, setting back the due dates of the schedules to the last occurrence (the one covering the statement) and then re-run the import with the current statement. Only requirement: you have a backup of your data and the OFX file still at hand.
