Update KMyMoney

I'm just about to update to 1.0.2 from Claydoh.
I understand that I have to uninstall my current version first.

However, not having uninstalled KMyMoney previously I would like to know if I lose any preferences/settings in the process?

You will not loose any settings since the settings are kept in the settings file (~/.kde/share/config/kmymoney2rc) and are not removed when uninstalling the application
