I'm new to linux as well as KMyMoney. I've just set up my main checking account and I have just added a savings account from another institution. I don't see how to do a transfer between the two.

Click on new transaction, select the transfer tab, select the account, enter the rest of the data, click enter.

There is no restriction whatsoever by institution.
