Hi there,
I am brand new to KmyMoney - I was previously running Grisbi, which I abandoned after far too many crashes... I use KMymoney 1.0.2 on Ubuntu 9.10. There seems to be one feature that I could not retrieve in Kmymoney. Is there a way to specify how the expense was done (moyen de payement, in french): credit card #1, credit card #2, check, etc? Thanks for your help, regards, |

You have to create separate accounts for each credit card, checking account, etc.
You can add the check number if needed.

If you use the New Account wizard, when you get to the screen which has the check account in it, click on this to open the list of options and you will find credit card as an option.
Turning auto-increment of check numbers off or on is in Configure KMyMoney>Settings>Register>Data entry
